Jumai bin Umair Taymi narrates that he visited Ayesha (r.a) in the company of his paternal aunt and asked her, “Who was the most beloved to the Holy Prophet ?” The Mother of the Believers (r.a) replied, “Fatimah RA.” “And who from among the men?” again she was asked. She replied, “Her husband (Ali Ibn Abi Talib RA).
