What is Tragi-comedy ?

In this post I wll discuss What is  Tragi-comedy.
Tragi-comedy is the unconventional mixture of kings, gods, servants, jesters, princes, fools etc. A tragic-comedy is the so called mirth and killing but it does not end in death which is enough to make it no tragedy. Yet it includes some tragic elements and becomes near tragedy. It is a play in between tragedy and comedy. In fact, tragi-comedy is a comedy with tragic elements. It is also called dark
comedy. Most of Shakespearean romantic comedies are classed as tragi-comedy. Elizabethan and Jacobean concept of life as a tragi- comedy of life is an attempt to value and reconcile the conflict of vision. This conflict is deep in the mind of the protagonist in Shakespearean tragi-comedy, Shakespeare's problem plays are also a
kind of tragi-comedy because they include All's Well That Ends Well. In problem play we share neither pure joy nor pure pain - it is the paradox. We are excited, fascinated, perplexed because the issues raise no satisfactory result. Problem plays are those which do not Introduction of noitanbeiel clearly fall into the category of tragedy but they are too serious and analytical to fall into commonly accepted notion of tragedy. A
problem play introduces perplexing and distressing complication in human life. The problem play is such a dark comedy that gives no solution but it is the problem of human conduct which is too complex to be fluently understood. For example- Masure for Masure is both a
tragi-comedy and a problem play because here human motives are promoted by mysterious, enigmatic and complex human passion that lie in the ego. In fact Shakespeare writes grim statement in gay style in his tragi-comedy.
